About

About

In Slope House, we demonstrate that an imposed traditional roof does not have to be a constraint- it can instead become the catalyst for creating an original, sculptural form. From the street, the house appears as an abstract monolith, where white planes of roof and walls descend all the way to the ground, forming an introverted façade that ensures complete privacy. Access is led through a raw concrete canyon, conceived as a ritual of transition that cuts off the rush of everyday life and introduces visitors to the calm, intimate world of the home.

The concept, Rooted in Space, reflects a deeper narrative. This house was not born from a line drawn on paper, but from a desire to remain close to ones roots- within a multi-generational orchard where every tree tells a family story.

Between the internal garden and the external orchard stretches the heart of family life: the living room, dining area, and kitchen. Here, sliding glass walls blur the boundaries between interior and nature, allowing the landscape to become an integral part of daily living.

The most distinctive element of the house is its roof. The plane sloping toward the garden has been transformed into a fifth elevation- a private hill. This unique space serves as an area for recreation, an open-air summer cinema beneath the stars, or simply a place from which to admire the surrounding nature. It is the moment when architecture no longer competes with the landscape, but yields to it, becoming an inseparable part of it.

From the investors perspective, particularly noteworthy is the fact that the entire sculptural form was realized using advanced timber
prefabrication technology. This approach delivered three key advantages: exceptional, near-laboratory precision of execution, a guarantee of the highest and repeatable quality,
and a significantly reduced construction time. As a result, the entire investment process became more predictable, efficient and comfortable.
